But seriously folks: Along with the smart phone, there seem to be lots of other distractions. Cars like my old beast have a simple array on the dash. All I really need to do is look at the speedometer, and glance now and then in the mirror. I don't own a cell phone ... not 'cause I'm fuddy; I don't need one. And those of my generation will understand, "if you don't need it; don't bloody well buy it."
