I have been getting adventurous with my food recently.
I put some mushrooms and radishes on my salad. That's about the limit of my cooking.
I have lived for over 76 years without the need to eat in those fast food outlets and it hasn't harmed me.
From birth I have never eaten meat, fish, poultry, cabbage, mashed potatoes, soup, bacon, foreign food, carrots, anything mushy (apart from peas), plenty more too much to mention.
It's not because I am a vegan or such like, I just can't stand the look of the stuff even. Parents tried hard to get me to eat those things when I was a child but to no avail. It is a bit awkward in hotels or when I was tramping the Country and staying in digs but I survived and am no 8 stone weakling.
