Re: Today in pictures
Yesterday in Pictures, fossicking around the Coppice.
1. This hill gets steeper as I get older, so we are going off to the right.
2. Were gonna need a bigger coat.
3. The needles of the Larch are now yellow and falling to the floor.
4. The third reservoir down from the top, looking toward Moleside.
5. This is the fourth reservoir, from here it fed into Plantation Mill.
6. It now flows away from the area without having powered a thing.
7. Accy in the distance.
8. One of the newer paths that traverse the slopes.
9. This path has been here for a while, just a new surface.
10. This once hard to find red jobbie (Amanita muscaria) now peppers the slopes of the Coppice, I found 5 different clumps without much fossicking, I can only guess that all the recent activity around the area has proved beneficial to this variety.
