The endless knocking of Stanley people (staff, management and players) who are almost certainly trying their best in pretty difficult circumstances, and come to that of anyone who tries to provide an opposing voice of reason, is really grinding me down lately. This website used to be fun to follow - these days its just getting vicious.

To be perfectly honest, if I'd known that that pitch was still frozen and there was to be another inspection at 1:30, I'd not have bothered travelling at all. It doesn't take a genius to work out that frozen soil isn't going to thaw at temperatures of 1 degree.
Mind you, I'd agree that this forum isn't what it was. That's why I don't bother with it as much nowadays.
