Outback, Mab and Alvin keep the faith and make their moves
Much more sensible forecasting this week - only 20 cockeyed optimists for us
, 10 for the home team sitting on the edge of the playoffs
, and 10 thinking we might just hang on for the draw
. So of course we won
, and only 3 of the Top Ten thought we would, and they all got it spot on for a max 5 points.
So Outback Ozzy, Mab and Alvin the Chipmunk (by default - are you still with us Alvin?) leap up the table to 4th, 5th equal and 5th equal respectively. Also collecting the big max and moving up (but from lower down) were Accymad, Leylandii, Sparkie, Tom D, Proccy Fan and Choirboy.
2 new players this week (I think
) - StanleyAccrington (hereinafter CFSA if I have to type it too often) and AccyTom18 (please can someone who knows please confirm this is
not AccyTom101 seeking a new identity having come of age). Nowt for CSFA but 3 for AccyTom18 for starters.
So ... back to the ScoreFirst and roll on the Shakers. The next few games do look winnable .... no, no, stop it
