Today in Pictures, a walk around Rhyddings Park, Ossy, when the wind was whistling under my flat cap in an attempt to remove it from my head.

1. Long shadows and a chilling wind, you wouldn't think its Spring.
2. A once proud monument from a man to his parents. Why has it been left to the ravages of time and vandals, should we not preserve these links with the past.
3. From a man in Los Angeles for his parents in Oswaldtwistle, there must be more to this than just an inscription.
4. Usually the busiest part of the park.
5. Its difficult keeping focus when you are climbing over the cargo net.
6. I have often walked past this cross without really noticing it.
7. I don't know why I stopped at this point today.
8. Sometimes history passes you by and sometimes you pass by without really looking.
9. The rain is on its way again, time to leg it.
