Today in Pictures, Spring Wood, still very little colour around, but I did find a few bright corners.

1. A few patches of Wood Anemone's are putting up a few flower heads.
2. I didn't expect to find any fungi at this time of year, but the one I found was a big un.
3. A small hint from nature of what is to come, and why it is called Bluebell Wood.
4. Some sections are still in Winter mode.
5. I am already visualising shots when the bluebells are in full flow.
6. However back to the present, rain and low cloud are the order of the day.
7. Longridge Fell on the left, with Clitheroe under heavy rain on the right.
8. You can just see the clouds scraping through the trees, you can feel the moisture when you breath, that, and the wet socks.
9. There is a small pond in the centre of the woods, not very spectacular, but as you know I am drawn to moist experiences.
10. There are a few cherry trees amongst the other trees, but they are lost in the mix.

That brought to an end today's walk on the wet side, but a mental note to return when the Bluebells are at full throttle to snap the pictures I have in mind
