I sorted mine out, turned water off, stripped the shower mixer down, cleaned it all - reassembled and all is fine now.

Apart from the leak.... soon to be fixed when new filter washers arrive

ISTR diverter valves cost approx a fiver for a universal diaphragm but RGI's prefer to replace the whole unit cos it's easier for them.
