It doesn't actually stagger me at all - it's what directors outside the Premier**** (oops spelling) generally do, shovel money into a bottomless pit for the joy of getting slagged off on forums like this for not shovelling still more in, or for wanting some of their cash back when they decide enough is enough ......
... or for not always being as transparent about what they're doing as we might like
