As things stand, next season's League 1 might be slightly less "northern".
Only one out of 3 clubs coming down from the Championship could be northern, with 2 out 3 going up being northern.
Three out of 4 leaving League 1 could be northern, being replaced by 3 out of 4 southern teams from League 2.
But it should still be financially better to be hosting the likes of Bolton, Sheffield Utd, Rochdale, Bury, etc, and filling the new 'Holt End' stand!
