it would also be a cost saving exercise to get rid of the department that doles out this money to countries who either do not need it because they have their own space program(india)...or those with despotic rulers who cream off the money for their own use.
Charity begins at home. Let's look after our own needy and homeless before we start trying to look after the worlds needy and homeless.
