It would be a nice idea if the over paid 'elite' players of the Premier League each adopted a club from the lower divisions and non league in order to put some of their earnings back into grass roots football! They could then turn up to watch 'their adopted team' occasionally which might help increase the gate and give the smaller clubs a bit of publicity too.
