I probably didn't word it right because that was more what I meant. I can't understand why someone who doesn't believe in anything would want to have their wedding in a church representing something they don't believe in. but lots of people do it.

My Dad used to say that people use churches mainly for "hatches, matches and dispatches" (Christenings, weddings and funerals)
