The driver who killed a 4year old girl driving at 80mph in a 30mph limit has been jailed for 9yr 4 months. His passenger has been jailed for 6yrs 8months so that equates to 2yr 8months for the killing. The grandmother may never walk again. I think it is time the law is changed and anyone committing this sort of crime should be charged with manslaughter and the heavier penalties applied.
