I can get my head around it, these people are (fortunately) heading along one of Mr. Darwins dead end branches on the tree of life.

Within one generation they will have disappeared, after all if poor little Star Cloud doesn't recognise his gender he will fortunately be out of the breeding pool.

Actually, it's not true,
I really can't get my head around it, surely these people are living a lie, when the child was conceived they must have been busy recognising each others gender at the time.
Why have they dumped this on that poor child? He will go through life already having the urine extracted just because his parents chose such a stupid and irresponsible name.
When he's older he'll probably try to change it to Fred or Tom, unless his parents brainwashing works, in which case he'll choose Doreen or Brenda.
