Re: General Election called
He is a man who is not afraid to be honest about his convictions, his faith or his ideals and morals....and that has to be applauded.
He has ethics(not that I agree with some of them) and morals and that he is an ex public schoolboy from a privileged background is not his fault. I am more interested in a politician who is honest with the electorate...does not treat us like retarded children...someone who will listen to opinions which may be different from their own and then give them due consideration.
Now whether this is the man, I don't know and will not be expected to vote for him as he is not up for election in our locality.
We have had plenty of 'champagne socialists' in the past...those who connived to convince the electorate of their socialist leanings, their concern for the 'working classes' and then dumped on us from a great height.
He can be no worse of a bet than many of those surely?
