I have fond memories of this area in 1968/69/70 and hope to obtain information that 40 years have blurred.
I lived on Well Street in Clayton and worked variously in factories in Clayton, Accrington, Oswaldtwistle, Blackburn, and Rawtenstall.
Some of the pubs that I remember are The Hare and Hounds in Clayton; the Albion Hotel in Clayton, and I believe the Wellington Hotel in Clayton.
