Thank you all for your kind words...they mean so much to me.

Steve, B.E.M is the British Empire Medal...and it was presented to her in 1992 for services to education....unfortunately it was the same year she lost my Dad....he knew she had been awarded it, but did not live to see her presented with it.

I miss her like crazy.
