Rowlf...yes...I have seen that poem too. it was written by a Bishop(whose name escapes me just now) and it is a paraphrase of that.
It was what Ma believed would happen.
Thank you Steve...I thought Ma was invincible.
When she was lying at the bottom of the stairs with a fracture hip...she kept telling the ambulance lads that 'There's nowt wrong wi' me...it's not broken'....and initially refusing pain relief...well, until we tried to move her that is.
My life is going to be poorer for her not being there...but she left me a rich legacy...not in money, but in memories and experiences.
