Gerard, I love that you found the handwritten poem, and though it must have been painful for you to read, she was in effect telling you that life goes on, and each day you just put one foot in front of the other...and that is how it is.
Memories are painful at first, but as I said, these can be your life raft when sadness threatens to drown you.

I am sad that you never got to experience the antipodes.

I have had many many visits down under....and it is a diverse and fascinating place.

What's stopping you going now? Don't leave it on your bucket list, it has never been as cheap to fly there, there are many deals to be had....and you take Yvonne in your heart...so you would be showing her the sights.
