For a place I have never been to - I would like to be plonked on Mount Everest (without the need to climb it of course) so that I could genuinely feel on top of the world. I would stick my little flag in that said ‘Dotti wuz here’.

For an event I would love to be able to do again – our 60th wedding anniversary in February of 2017. The most wonderful day full of sunshine and love shared with those nearest and dearest to us. This was just before everything went pear-shaped.

For an historical event – so many of these would be interesting to be at but I think being at Runnymede and watching King John sign the Magna Carta would give me a buzz.

I asked his nibs where he would like to be transported to if he had the chance and he said he would have loved to have gone walking with Alfred Wainwright. Failing this he wouldn’t mind a bit of a stroll with Julia Bradbury. Have a feeling the latter would appeal to him most….

He’d also like to have the day back when he climbed Ben Nevis as a young lad.

Oh, yes – and he’d like to have February 25th back again.
