Technically speaking, at midnight tonight, for one nanosecond only, it is Lettie's birthday; she is nine and a quarter!

Let me explain. Lettie is a leap year baby, born on 29th of February 1968, and only gets the opportunity to celebrate an official birthday once every four years. This sounds horrible, being denied the chance of an annual celebration.

Not for Lettie it isn't, for she turns it to her advantage; and like the Queen, has two birthdays. So today and tomorrow is Lettie's birthday.

Will you please join me in wishing Lettie a Happy Birthday.
