Any Coronation St. fans here, besides me? So what do you think of the latest story lines?

There's bland Sally Webster being lusted over by her boss and turning into a hooker while gullible Kevin ignores all the signs. Now the irritating Katie (Miss Hairspray 2005) is about to terminate the pregnancy she was so desparate for, because she thinks "Maa'in" is having an affair with the same insipid Sally (though she hasn't actually asked him or Sally), and soon, we hear, she's to do a Lizzy Borden on her 'orrible, never-been-known-to-smile father with a monkey wrench.

We have Charlie the control freak making out that everyone Shelley knows is bad, except himself, and there's Gail Platt happily going along with her daughter's affair with a modern day rag and bone man. Not long ago we had Mad Maya blowing up all Dev's shops (how did she get the explosives into every one and set them without anyone knowing?) and of course there was the spectacularly evil Richard Hilman killing everybody in sight.

I can just about accept that Les doesn't see through Cilla (face like a bulldog chewing a wasp), and that Ken and Diedre just might get married again. The Steve/Tracy storyline is just barmy and would the younger Baldwin clan really live in a 2 up 2 down in Salford?

I've watched Corrie since it first started in 1960. Is it me, or is it getting more like Brookside every day?
