Yes Less, you are(as usual) spot on.
This is an ill thought out idea....by a man who is noted for such things.
The money would come from making older folk pay more in taxes.
If the government could find ways of extracting the appropriate taxes from multi national companies,(and I know they are indulging in perfectly legal tax evasion....it might be legal, but it is still evading paying what should be paid) then there would be more money to fix many of the problems that afflict society.

But, no one should ever get something for nothing....especially not when it is coming from the public purse....that is NOT creating a level playing field.
