It is good to recognise your limitations.
My father was like that....so Ma did the DIY and he did the sewing jobs....and he was good at them.
I am not sure what my limitations are....I will tackle most things(once I have done a bit of preliminary research, that is)....and I see mistakes as a learning curve.
