Why would you ever be sorry for telling the truth?
The only thing he needs to apologise for is his choice of words....if he needs to apologise at all.
He expressed himself in a blunt way....but said what many people think.

I no longer visit some local places because I feel intimidated by these women in this garb....though I am loathe to tell any person how they should or should not dress.
I am uncomfortable with the burqa(you cannot tell who is contained in that tent of a garment) and I dislike the niqab because it tells me that the woman behind it sees herself as different....and does not want to be in the mainstream of society....does not want to be recognised or recognisable.
While I would not want to ban them, I feel that they should be strongly discouraged.
