Hello,

My name is Mike and I was born in Rawtenstall in 1948. During my childhood we lived in pre-fab in Woodside Road, Huncoat until they were demolitioned in the early 1950's. My mother used to work at the cotton mills, except for a period during the war when she worked at a factory producing Wellington Bombers.

I now live in Somerset but have been trying to find some family history when I came across this forum and I hope the members here will be able to assist me at times.
