I have an image stuck in my head that is driving me nuts. It is of a box of animated Punch and Judy puppets endlessly performing, powered unfortunately by the batteries of a well known manufacturer that go on and on and on …….

I had some hope it might go away on the 29th March but as that day approached the hope faded.

I am keeping myself sane by remembering the lessons of history, the Corn Laws eventually went, women got the vote eventually etc.
