I am pretty sure that I also read that this law that was hurried through to take NODeal off the table does not need the Queens assent. Like other laws.....but actually needs the Queens CONSENT.
And if that were true she would ask for the advice from her Prime Minister....he would simply tell her to deny consent.....and the law would fail.

If this is not used, then I think that the PM can ignore the law as it was not made by a recognised government body....of course that would provoke an injunction.....followed by the PM taking the legal issue to the High Court.

My understanding is that while this was going on, the clock is ticking down to the exit date.

Because this would be complicated (legally) it would not be dealt with before the 31st of October.

The other thing I am holding onto(not with much hope) is that Guy Verhofstad and Macron have both said that any request for an extension might be vetoed.....with the emphasis on the word ' might '
