Less, it was all scaremongering.
It was aimed at deflecting us from our aim of leaving....and to some degree it is still going on.
The House of Lords has to pass the legislation that ratifies the WA.

There is still some sabre rattling in the EU....they are saying that trade deals cannot be completed by the end of December.
What they mean is that they do not want them to be completed and will put every conceivable obstacle in the way of achieving a trade deal...because each month they keep us in, we pay them 1billion quid....Also until the transition period ends we are still subject to the laws they make....and they could pass punitive laws...laws that would be in their interest, but that would penalise us in trade or in banking or anything really.

It may be that if they continue on this course, the only way forward would be to leave without a deal.
This scares the EU, but yet they continue to play silly bu88ers because they don't want to lose face.

All that said we are in a far better position than we were, because many of the remainers have been booted out.

The EU are currently looking at a 'plastic tax'....this will be introduced under the guise of the climate change issue, but the money will go towards filling the big hole the loss of our contributions will create.

There are also rumblings in Hungary and ther is a real fear that our departure will cause the whole house of cards to tumble.
