One thing being hidden by a few smokescreens is the desire of Merkel to make German holocaust deniers laws EU wide. I always thought it better to let the absurd arguments (like the Flat Earth society etc) be judged on their own merits as most people are capable of making their own minds up on such issues. Banning and criminalising people and their thoughts or ideas for having a different view to yours or the accepted norm is nothing short of tyranny. It begs the question of who will decide which groups or thoughts will be deemed illegal - an EU commission (no doubt directed by Fuhrer Merkel)?
