The problem with playing in May/July is it would undoubtedly be behind closed doors and as Andy Holt explains this would just be another expense that most clubs haven't got so just creating more problems without crowds especially lower leagues that is a catastrophe especially the likes of Sunderland who must be paying most of their wages in comparison to gate receipts.
