Much has been made of those who stocked up on toilet paper, hand sanitiser etc hoping to turn a quick profit but they pale into insignificance compared to our major supermarket chains. 'All offers are suspended to prevent panic buying and hoarding' - very convenient, making a £40 basket of shopping now a £60 one... a 50% increase in profits at a stroke with everyone now just happy to be able to buy stuff at any cost.
