Oh I always rinse too because the soapy bubbles don't run off and I do leave them to drain rather than dry with a cloth because as Doug says this is the most hygienic way. The bubbles would dry on the plates and I'm sure we'd taste them, especially in cups.

I can assure you that you can taste it in the cups lol!! Everytime my daughter attempts the washing up but at least she tries lol!!
