Yes, Miss Croston was a lovely lass....and as you say...not much older than her pupils.
And she was ragged unmercifully by the boys (who made lewd comments) and fled crying to the staffroom.
The girls in the class clubbed together and bought her a pretty bag to try and make up for her upset.

Quite right Marge, I did not know that, good on you and the other lasses in class 4B, I think that was the one we were in at the Time but as I stated in an earlier post, I will bow down to the knowledge of the female of the species.
