I seek information about the owners/occupiers of Bentcliffe House, in Manchester Rd which in the 1970s was demolished to allow for the building of houses in Bentcliffe gardens. Who owned the house at that time ?

In 1911 it was occupied by a Mr Wm Browning, a calico works director. It had 11rooms

At some earlier time, it may have been owner by a Mr Bannister.

Anyone got a photo of it ?
