Saturday brought mostly subtle shifts to the positions in the Prediction League, given that none of the 6 successful drawmongers pulled in a maxi, and 5 of them were in the lower reaches of the table at kick-off. But for the other one, AccyTom18, 3 points
were enough to lift him from 11th to 6th. With him on the fence and scoring the same 3 points
were AngeB (18th to 13=, level with Nige of that ilk), Taypot (22nd to 21st), LongLostSon (24th to 23rd), Monkey Hanger (26th to 25th) and Kiwi John (27th to, err, 27th
).
Everyone else bar Valairian
went for a home win, and 7 of us picked up a bonus point
by backing Savin' Savin for a fourth consecutive league clean sheet. Which means
StanleyJosh and
StanleyHouse now lead the way on 25 points, with
Ossy Kid and Outback
Ozzy one adrift on 24 (Josh and the Kid ahead in each case on countback). Then it's

Tom18 on 22.
7th, 8th and 9th are all on 20 points, and the next 5 all on 19, so it remains a pretty close run race at the head of the field. A couple of successful punts on unlikely results could see almost anyone make a charge for glory - Stanley 4 Crewe 6

So it is indeed roll on the Chuffers, as the two games a week schedule keeps Div3North tied to his keyboard seeking out the unknown nuggets of footballing history
