When I started this thread I thought that it would be a happy one…still we all know what thought did – if you don’t, well it followed a muck cart and thought it was a wedding (a good old Lancashire saying). For a while there the thread was certainly doing what it had been intended for, to pass on good cheer. Although diversifying is often the way the threads on this forum go before returning to the original subject, often with very interesting reading, this time it’s a pity that it has become yet another platform of sorts for that blasted virus.

While there is absolutely no way I would ever belittle the impact that the Corona virus has had on so many lives and continues to do so (though I do worry about the vaccine), and it really is a dreadful problem throughout the world, it is ‘a’ problem and, Margaret, you are so right – it is certainly not the only one, and (dare I say it) not really the biggest problem or concern for some, though I know there are those who would not agree. Maybe if COVID19 is the main worry in a person’s life then perhaps that person is fortunate in that they do not have any other major problems (especially health ones) they have to contend with.

Just saying…..
