Cashy on a Charge as the Podium Loses Faith
Well, not all the podium, our leader Outback Ozzy stayed with the programme and increased his lead by picking up 4 points
, but equal seconds Ossy Kid and AccyTom18 both took to the fence
, descending with 1 point each and relegation to equal sixth. Cashman meanwhile took a maxi
and surged up from 5= to 2nd, albeit 7 points behind Outback. The only other maxis went to DaveinGermany (9th to 4th) and AndyD (13th to 11th). Everyone else who stayed on the Stanley side of the fence got 4 points except Div3North who had to be content with the bare 3, and slipped down from 7th to 9th as a consequence
. The 7 drawmongers and 5 pessimists mostly got nowt
; apart from Ossy and AT18, only Choirboy sneaked a bonus point. There were no changes at all to positions in the lower half of the table, and not much further up either.
I'm still pinching myself
every time I look at the League 1 table. Whatever, next up is a diversion to Papa John's in Lincoln for an Imp pizza
on Tuesday, before it's roll on the Gills if the Crown thaws out before Saturday. We've only lost 1 of our last 11 league games
