As supporters may have heard on local news, Dave Whelan is having a fight against GMP for overcharging at the JJB stadium. E.G. Wigan Latics charged over £44,000 for game against West Ham recently, yet P.N.E. charged just under £8,000 by Lancashire Police. A mark up of over 500%.
Football and Rugby supporters will be affected. Stadium has full complement of stewards to watch over match - all trained by Wigan Police. Police only look after areas outside the ground before and after a match.
