Right then, after reading the "Headmasters intro", it appears an impromptu
"Auf Deutsche" lesson is on the cards, although we're today referring to Austria.
Both are Germanic speaking nations with colloquial & linguistic similarities & also differences.
"Unsere Burschen" being a colloquial expression which when translated basically means
"Our Boys", in the dialect used within the Southern States of Germany & the Northern Alpine regions of the Austrian Tirol.
Had this been Northern Germany or the more "Cosmopolitan & cultured" less rustical
Länder von Österreich,
(Counties of Austria) the expression would've been
"Unsere Jungs", again referring to
"Our Boys" as expressed in
"Hoch Deutsche" (High German).
Tschüss, Servus.
