I think the whole thing is a plan by the major retailers to end up making everyone end up having home deliveries. Make the shopping experience such a pain so that we don't bother. Home deliveries is a dream for them - no costly stores, less staff, perfect stock rotation, they can offload the close to sell by date stuff on you and they get us to pay extra for the "privilege" of not being able to choose our own stuff.
