Maybe because, in the first half especially, Pompey were very quick in closing down any Stanley player with the ball and at one point Toby was nearly caught out and luckily got a goal kick after Marquis (I think) blocked his clearance. The defence rarely had the luxury of space and time.

As to Hamilton, I like him and thought his positioning out wide on the right, almost as if he was a winger

, allowed him to be one the few players who did get a bit of time and space so he could attack down their flank.
