Not at all Ma, as was seen after Hiroshima & Nagasaki, the testing at Bikini Atoll & more recently at Chernobyl & to a lesser extent Fukashima. Radiation knows no boundaries or borders, if one place gets it, various others will too.
I don't even think it'll be near UK, if the lunatic in the Kremlin does do the nuclear thing, we'll be directly targeted. All those years during the "Cold War", we were constantly drilled on the actions to take should a nuclear strike hit, even doing the drills we'd all pretty much cease to function due to short term, long term exposure, it was more a matter of how long after the initial blast.
