It isn't JavaScript, its Java. You need to install what is called a JVM(Java Virtual Machine) to run it. Go here
http://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp and download from either of the top 2 'buttons' The first downloads a small installer then goes and gets the rest of it, the second downloads a full installation.
