Bright lad Liam. I always liked him, both as a player and manager at Stanley. Not the most gifted player but a whole hearted full throttle left back. As a rookie manager at Stanley he managed to keep us up when all looked lost that season. Glad he's got a good payoff. Did OK at Wigan as well. Yes he had money to spend but that can have its drawbacks as it attracts players with big ego's. He's not popular with everyone on here because oh his connection's with Paul Cook, but you sometimes have to take your opportunities when they come along in the merry-go-round of football and football management.
