Psycho pension boy
A Turkish man has been arrested for being a little bit Norman Bates after dressing up as his dead mother and drawing her pension.
Serafettin Gencel, managed to collect more than £3,300 over two years by donning a woman's overcoat, headscarf, spectacles and stockings.
In a plot that owes not an insignificant amount to Hitchcock thriller Psycho, the 47-year-old buried his mother in his basement to conceal the fact that she had died.
He was only caught when employees at the bank where he drew the money became suspicious about his low voice and notified the police.
Mr Gencel now faces possible charges of fraud, suspicious death and conducting a burial without notifying authorities, news agency Anatolia reported.
