the photo above was taken in about 1952, on henry st; church, it was the day that some of the children of church whose fathers were members of the tanpits club had a day trip to Blackpool, hence the little round badges, we were each given a little brown envelope containing a half crown piece to spend when we got to Bpool, we went on the train from church railway station, we also got a bag of chips bought us before we came home. And from what i can gather we enjoyed ourselves,
