Re: 2023-24 Prediction League; Game 1 v Newport County (home)

Congratulations to Colchester, who pick up the ClimateChange Cup for having a game postponed by a waterlogged pitch at the beginning of August: Somerset will have a pink fit!

Well well well ........... According to Bet365, Wreck'd'em, Stockport, Notts Co, Gillingham and Bratfud are the most likely to win League Two, with odds between 5/6 and 3/1 ........... bottom three are Crawley, Harrogate and Morecambe .......... So I don't think Crawley were supposed to beat Bradford, nor Harrogate to win at Donnie (even by a penalty), and probably not Morecambe against Walsall ........... and as for Wrexham and Nots Co ... well ........... gobsmacked doesn't do it ........ and they were both full value for their hammerings, looking at the highlights ...... and who's the enthusiastic lady who introduces the programme? Come back Motty!

The Law According to Chimer says "no league table until four or five games in", with which view I agree with. Isn't it ....... HOWEVER, three "From Len, a Ten" maxis went to the two self-confessed Madmen (the aforementioned Chimer, and Cashie), plus andyd ........... NINE players got 5 points each (four for Accie's win, plus one for either our 3 goals or Newport's none goals) ............... four more got four points for the win, one (Taypot) got one point (a bonus point off the back of the wrong result); seven more have yet to trouble the scorer; three red cards

24 players, which was a stonking start; keep it up and you may win a match-day shirt
