Sycamore Gap tree at Hadrian's Wall cut down by 'vandals'

According to the latest report, a 16 year old boy has been arrested on suspicion.

For those not familiar, it became famous from Robin Hood Prince of Thieves film in 1991 with Kevin Costner and Morgan Freeman. I would post a picture but never got the chance despite driving past it last Oct.
